Bob Duncan is Sonic Fire Tech, (the manufacturers), largest individual investor and brings a long track record in finance and entrepreneurship. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University with degrees in economics and history, he began his career as a wealth-management advisor and rose to senior vice president at UBS and Merrill Lynch, where he was ranked annually among the top 2% of brokers nationally. He later founded Duncan-Newman Associates, which Forbes has consistently ranked among California's top financial planning firms, with more than $1 billion under management. A partner in construction, restaurant, and cattle businesses, Bob has deep experience guiding companies through the financial demands of growth, from startup to scale. He has served on numerous boards, including the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum, Santa Barbara Navy League, Santa Ynez Valley Museum and the Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council. Bob and his wife, Carolyn, have been together since meeting as teenagers and have an exceptional daughter, Emily.

Doug Wilson is a third-generation general building contractor whose career includes more than 1,000 completed construction projects across the United States. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Finance and Real Estate, he co-founded Willingham/Wilson Corporation in 1980, a national firm specializing in new construction and renovation of multi-unit restaurants. His portfolio also includes concrete tilt-up warehouses and distribution centers, aircraft hangars, cell towers, school renovations, and residential developments, giving him a builder's perspective on the commercial and industrial facilities where Sound Stops Fire's technology can make the greatest impact. Doug is a U.S. Navy veteran and a past vice president of the Santa Barbara Navy League. He and his wife, Juliana, have been married for 49 years and are the proud parents of the late Christina Lynn Wilson, Esq.

Brent Roach is a respected residential and commercial builder with more than 40 years of experience in construction and development in the Tri-Counties. He has led projects from initial planning through completion, with expertise in project management, budgeting, operations, risk management, and client relationships, giving him practical insight into how new technology is brought into homes and commercial buildings as Sound Stops Fire moves toward commercialization. Known for his integrity and sound judgment, he contributes an experienced voice on business strategy and long-term growth. Outside of work, Brent is committed to his family and community. He is married and has three adult children.

Pat McElroy brings Sound Stops Fire decades of frontline fire service and emergency management leadership. His career includes 37 years in a major municipal fire department, six years as Fire Chief of the City of Santa Barbara, and more than a decade on a National Type 1 Incident Management Team, the highest level of incident command, deployed to the nation's most complex emergencies. Pat has managed large-scale disasters including wildfires, debris flows, and hurricanes. He has also led projects that involved complex environmental permitting, multiple public agencies, and a range of funding sources. He has worked extensively with elected officials, government agencies, businesses, foundations, and nonprofits, and he is skilled at building coalitions among stakeholders with competing interests. His focus on practical solutions that reduce disaster risk and improve preparedness aligns directly with the mission of Sound Stops Fire.

Barbara Robles leads operations at Sonic Fire Tech. She joined the company during its early research and development stage and is helping build the operational and business foundation it needs as its fire suppression technology moves toward commercialization. She brings 35 years of experience in accounting, business administration, and human resources, along with a practical, collaborative approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to efficient business practices that support growth and innovation. Outside of work, Barbara enjoys road cycling, traveling, and, most of all, spending time with family.
